Jack and Alphonsilla Mahkee created beautiful inlay work incorporating animals and birds but especially gorgeous horses. Their work is easily recognizable for most collectors and lovers of Native American jewelry and horse lovers as well. Today we concentrate on one of his beautiful inlaid horse bolos. This one is a stunning piece of work for him measuring over 3 inches wide and over 3 inches tall. Here is an incredible example of Zuni Jack and Alphonsilla Mahkee’s work. This stunning bolo tie is adorned with antique sterling silver matching tips and is created with tortoise shell,  black jet, turquoise, yellow shell, abalone, mother of pearl and sterling silver.
