Nora Leekity created beautiful inlay work incorporating animals and mostly cattle but especially horses. Her work is easily recognizable for most collectors and lovers of Native American jewelry and horse lovers as well. Today we concentrate on one of her beautiful horse bolos. This one is a large piece of work for her measuring nearly 2.75 inches wide. Here is an incredible example of Nora Leekity’s work. This stunning bolo tie is adorned with sterling silver tips and is created with black shell, tortoise shell, yellow shell, turquoise, mother of pearl and sterling silver.
